[Methylene blue as an inhibitor of the reduction of hydroxocobalamin by carbon monoxide].

چکیده

Wir konnten zeigen, daß die Reduktion des Hydroxocobalamins nach Gl. (1) eine durch Vitamin Bi2r sowie andere Co (II) -Corrinoide autokatalysierte Reaktion darstellt2. Die Beschleunigung der CO-Reduktion des Vitamin Bi2a durch zugesetzte katalytische Mengen an Vitamin Bi2r wurde darüberhinaus auch an Hand von Modellversuchen mit Bis-dimethylglyoximatokobaltKomplexen demonstriert3. Zur Auslösung der Reaktion von Vitamin Bi2a mit CO ist jedoch der Zusatz von Vitamin Bi2r nicht erforderlich, da in wäßrigen Lösungen von Vitamin Bi2a Co (II)-Corrinoide spontan und in hinreichender Konzentration durch Selbstreduktionsvorgänge entstehen 2> 3. Fängt man die autokatalytisch wirksamen Co (II)-Corrinoide durch Oxidation mit Methylenblau ab, so kommt die Reduktion des Vitamin Bi2a durch Kohlenoxid nicht oder nur sehr langsam in Gang. Dementsprechend gelingt auch die Katalyse der Methylenblaureduktion durch Vitamin Bi2a nicht mit CO als Elektronendonator (Gl. 2) :
